The girls and I were having a typical night out at Bar in New Haven when I unexpectedly met the guy who I would later call my husband. If Dom were to tell the story, he would tell you about the way the light hit me just right and the tune "To be loved" started playing in his head. He says it was angelic, I say it was the tequila! After a night of dancing and getting to know each other, we exchanged phone numbers and I left him with a kiss goodbye on the cheek. Just a few weeks later, we ran into each other again at Stonebridge in Milford and he had me totally smitten. The next day, he picked me up for our first date and I thought I loved him then. And that was just the beginning of our crazy beautiful life together.

In just a year of dating, we both knew what we wanted from eachother. On October 5th, 2020, Dominic and I walked along the beach on the West Haven boardwalk, like we did many times before. He took my hand and asked me to marry him.
