Our story's beginning is similar to many other people our age: the dating app. We matched in early August 2019 and began chatting on a daily basis. David asked to meet for a drink, but unfortunately Jaime was busy for awhile celebrating her birthday month. David was very patient and was unbothered by her love of celebrating another year around the sun. Before their first date Jaime thought to herself, "This is my last first date for awhile...dating sucks." Little did she know he was thinking the same thing. Funny story is that this was true-they both went on their last first date.

The afternoon after Thanksgiving, Jaime was being her indecisive (and let's be honest, stubborn) self and kept changing plans for the day. This then meant, David had to modify his proposal plans on the fly. As she was busy talking about all the possible options for the afternoon was when Jaime noticed David being weirder than normal that day. He got down on one knee and her heart stopped. He then said the sweet words of asking her to be his wife. Obviously, she said “yes!”
