Seven days before college graduation at Tulane University, Jeremy walked into a party and Dani thought "he's the one for me." That night, he asked her to be his girlfriend...for one week. She thought "why not, it's only a week!" One week turned into late night phone calls, trips to opposite coasts to see each other, birthday gifts, and finally "I love you's". Jeremy moved to NYC to start his PhD program at Columbia University in 2018, and they moved in together on the Upper West Side in 2019. In February 2022, Jeremy proposed to Dani in the atrium of the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. They popped champagne on the National Mall, and then went to celebrate with their close family and friends at the Hamilton, where President Joe Biden even joined in on the celebration (he was eating lunch with his granddaughters two tables away). Seven days became seven years, and we can't wait to celebrate with you all on Saturday, September 2nd!
