Our love story

Perfect Timing

The summer after their Junior year of High School, Abraham and JoHannah met when they both started to work at Chick fil a in Casa Grande,Arizona. They didn’t start the early stages of their soon to be relationship until January of 2021 they became closer and Abraham decided he would join the military. On October 25th he left for boot camp and came home January 28th, and on January 29th he officially asked her to be his girlfriend. JoHannah moved to Georgia while Abraham finished A school in Florida. Since coming out of boot camp Abraham and JoHannah had been doing long distance until recently, in March of this year. They have made the most of it though. Visiting each other as much as possible one can while in the military, and the other working a full time job. Now here’s where it gets a little crazy. All their lives the two had been just barely missing each other. Starting quite literally at birth. On November 25th 2002, Tina Cates gave birth to her youngest child JoHannah. A few days later Monique Ibarra , Abrahams mother was taken to the Tuscan Medical Center and gave birth to him. Barely missing each other by a couple of days. In elementary school the Brides family went to a church by the name of Fountains of Living Waters. The couple did not meet here as Abraham and his family had just left going to another church named Glad Tidings who would soon change their name to Redemption. JoHannah and her family went there for a few years meeting a few of the Grooms family members, including his Nina and Nino Maria and Rudy Ibarra and their children, his Tío and Tia Oscar Jr. and Tasha Ibarra, (who would also at some point later on work with the Brides brother Domacio Cates), and would soon leave there to go to Redemption Church. But, not until Abraham and his family had just left. At Redemption, JoHannah met her middle school best friend Celeste Pena daughter of Lori Ramirez who became the mother of the brides best friend. After leaving both Church’s during High School Abraham and JoHannah would then both unknowingly make the biggest decision of their life, the decision to Work at Chick-Fil-A the summer before their senior year and meet. Now JoHannah may or may not have had a crush on Abraham for a while before she let him know and Abraham would let her know one day after she gave him a ride home from work that the feeling was mutual. The couple at this point did not know that the bride knew basically his whole family until one day Kyrstyn Pena came through the drive through and Abraham came to the window while JoHannah was working at the driver through window handing guest their food and saw his cousin… and at that moment JoHannah definitely didn’t believe they were related until his cousin confirmed it and then she told him how she knew her and went down a rabbit hole who she knew. Coming to the realization that had been following each other their whole lives and she was there with him at family gatherings and neither of them ever knew it After leaving Chick fil A and playing softball for her school she would keep in touch with him. Eventually falling in love and the next summer and sending him to Boot camp for the Navy. And now here you all are, as they coming together as one. Uniting both family’s together making her moms bestie from the westie related to each other. Her middle school best friend, and all the people she met along the way, her family.
