The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee and our wedding vendors are following state mandates and putting safety measures in place to assist in preventing the spread of COVID-19. We are hopeful and remain optimistic that things will get better. A few important notes to our guests: The location of the wedding is Green County, GA. This is over one hour away from Atlanta and is very rural. To date, the county has less than 100 cases and is very low risk. The Ritz Carlton Reynolds has very strict protocols for all workers. They are checking temperatures upon clock in and will be wearing both masks and gloves. The hotel has also stepped up their deep cleaning protocol. All outside vendors must adhere to this protocol and go through sanitization by The Ritz. The property has acres of land and we have wide open use to the facility to allow social distancing in all areas including the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We are working with our wedding planner and property to develop social distancing requirements much better than a typical banquet hall. This includes table size, food servicing and dance floor. The wedding party and guests will have temperature checks upon arrival. We will have masks and sanitation stations. We will be sending out digital invites to your email where you can RSVP so please be on the look out for our next wave of invitations. The health and safety of our guests are the utmost importance. We would love to have everyone in attendance but it is important that everyone makes their own decision. What ever decision you make please note that we understand and love you all.

After Nicole’s birthday dinner we met up with Nicole’s best friend, Kelly Middleton, back at our house. Kelly had to do some pretty tough convincing to get Nicole to go out for one last birthday drink at the local brewery. Little did Nicole know Pat had one more birthday surprise in store. As they arrived at Glover Park Brewery, Nicole was completely caught off guard when their favorite friends yelled "SURPRISE!" and she discovered it was a private event just for her. Nicole went up to grab a drink at the bar and as she scanned the menu board "Nicole Will You Marry Me? 100%" was written as an order option. Pat was down on one knee and of course she 100% said "YES!".
