We are so grateful for the amazing friends in our lives who brought us to one another! One night, Luke was out with a group of friends when a friend overheard him mention that he went to Northway Church. She quickly pulled out a photo of Madeleine and asked, “Do you know this girl? She goes to Northway!” Luke replied, “No, but I want to!” Not long after, Luke was pulled away from the conversation and couldn’t stop thinking about the girl in the photo. How was he going to find her and ask her on a date? After a week of searching for Madeleine’s number, Luke received a text from his close friend Logan Stevens asking if he’d be interested in being set up with a girl named Madeleine Broussard. Behind the scenes, Logan’s sister-in-law, Elizabeth Cooper, had the perfect idea to introduce Luke and Madeleine. Their first date was at Wild Detectives, a coffee shop in Bishop Arts. Madeleine’s first thought when she walked in - thank goodness he’s tall. It didn’t take long for both of them to realize how special their connection was and how clearly God had placed them in each other’s lives. By their fourth date, they knew they had found the person they had been praying for their whole lives and couldn’t wait to build a future together. The rest is history!
