We met the modern way: on Tinder. Between the short bios and the questionable profile choices, we somehow found each other within the sea of people in Phoenix. Austin’s first messages were charmingly sweet, and though he was late to our first date at Postinos, he was quickly proven worth the wait. We stayed until closing that night, and we haven't stopped talking and laughing together since. We spent our first year balancing 20-minute drives with opposite work schedules—my late shifts and Austin’s marathon workdays—just to see each other. Since then, life has been a bit of a whirlwind. We moved to Las Vegas for a few years, survived the chaos of introducing our cats, and are now settled into Salt Lake City until the next adventure. It’s been an incredible journey from that first right swipe, and we’re just getting started!
