We met at a sportsbar called Jimmy Gee’s, we were watching the Jets game, having a couple of drinks and our friends started talking and so did we. Me being me, I have trouble remembering names and hours after we had exchanged numbers, he sends me a txt saying “For $100 and a trip to Acapolco....what’s my name??” I remembered and we have been inseperable ever since!
He came into the city to pick me up from work one night, he said he had a bad day and would like to go for a walk. We ended up at Herald Square Park where we got some waffles and ice cream. He started talking, then starting crying and asked me to be his wife. Of course I said “YES” and now we are getting married! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
To say that Covid-19 has intruded on our wedding plans would be putting it midly! After postponing 3 times, Eric and I decided to offically “Tie the Knot” on 10/3/20 in a private ceremony with only our bridal party and immediate family in attendace. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day as there was an abundance love and happiness in the air. ❤️ However, it was not the wedding that we dreamed of, and sadly we may never be able to make that dream a reailty. But we are going to try! Which is why we have re-scheduled our wedding celebration to 6/27/21 where we will renew our vows and hopefully will finally be able to celebrate our love with those who are near and dear to our hearts. Hope you see you all on June 27th!
