Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony limited to a few children that will be a part of our ceremony. Any additional children invited will been notated on formal invitation. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is cocktail/formal attire. Ladies you can wear midi or floor length dresses. Gentlemen can wear suits and/or slacks and button down shirts. Please no jeans, sneakers, and of course no wearing white.

I see the ceremony is taking place at a Catholic Church, what can I expect?

Answer

Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church is a Catholic Church, and our ceremony will be a full Liturgy with Matrimonial Rites. Programs will be provided so all may follow along with the progression of the Liturgy.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The church ceremony and reception will be held indoors, while the cocktail hour will be held outside. Patio heaters will be available in the cocktail hour area.

Can I share pictures of your big day on social media?

Answer

We are so grateful you are joining us on our special day, and we would love to see the memories you captured! Make sure to also share your pictures and videos via the QR code on your table!

Are there any colors I should avoid?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride: Whites, Ivories, and Creams.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

A time for the church ceremony will be given on your formal invite and we ask that you arrive and be in your seat NO LATER THAN 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. Details for the cocktail hour and reception will also be provided on your formal invitation.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be a open bar to include (mixed drinks, beer and wine). We ask that you be patient and respect our bartenders! Tips for bartenders are welcomed!

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Grandview Wedding & Events has a parking lot that can accommodate our guests, as well as any needing handicap accessibility.
