In the fall of 2019, Carly began her first job out of college, where she became close with her coworker, Morgan. Morgan soon thought Carly and her lifelong next-door neighbor (and basically brother), Joseph, would be a great match. By spring 2020, Morgan began planting the seed, sharing photos and details of Carly and Joseph with each other. Both were interested and open to meeting, and they eventually scheduled their first date for early July. To say it went well would be an understatement! They were the first to arrive at the restaurant and the last to leave, closing it down as they talked, laughed, and even began planning their next date before the night was over. By the end of the month, they were officially a couple. Since then, Carly and Joseph have lived in Hoboken, traveled with their families, and created lasting traditions. The most unforgettable moment came in Aruba during a family trip when Joseph proposed on the beach. The McMahon and Severini families rushed to the beach to celebrate, where there were lots of happy tears, photos, and champagne! Now, Carly and Joseph are excitedly counting down the days until they can celebrate the next chapter of their love story, surrounded by all of their favorite people!
