Buena Vista is a small, charming mountain town full of restaurants and shops - only a 15 minute drive from the resort! Check out the new Surf Hotel overlooking the Arkansas River, get a craft cocktail at Deerhammer Distillery, or grab a bite to eat at The Lariat or House Rock Kitchen.
WHITE WATER RAFTING
Go White Water Rafting down the Arkansas River! We have been rafting with this company twice and highly recommend them. Just beware during high water - our last trip was quite the doozy...
Hiking
There's plenty of beautiful hiking all around the BV valley! Nearby 14ers for those feeling ambitious, or hike up to St. Elmo, a historic abandoned mining town!
FLY FISHING
Bring your fishing gear! Browns and Rainbows can be found all along the Arkansas River and its nearby tributaries.
