Katie’s father, Bob, became close friends with Steele’s aunt and uncle, Shelly and Gerard, and joined the Condons on a fateful trip to Wildwood—where Steele would be with the rest of the McGraths. The couple began getting to know each other over the years since meeting at the Jersey Shore.

After years of persistence, Katie finally agreed to go on a date with Steele while she was in his town for work. They went to a Charlotte Knights baseball game—a place that, just a few months later, became where they first shared they were in love. Attending baseball games remains a favorite date night activity ⚾️ -go Phils!

Staying on theme at the beach, Steele proposed to Katie in Rehoboth, Delaware on July 10, 2024 ⛱️
