We will have a semi-formal dress code, cocktail attire is also welcome! Since this is an October wedding, jackets and other layers are encouraged; the venue will also have heaters around the space. We ask that guests refrain from wearing white, cream, champagne, or other colors similar to white. For inspiration and guidelines, see here: www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-semi-formal
Our ceremony will be outside and on the St. Joseph River. The reception will be outdoors and will have a large covered area with heaters for dinner and dancing.
Guests are welcome to arrive as early as 4:00 PM. For our Chicago-based folks – don't forget there is a time change when traveling to Michigan!
We understand life happens and kindly ask that you don't enter the ceremony late and potentially distract others, block the view of the photographer/videographer, etc. If you think you will be late to the ceremony, please relax in the area by the pavilion.
You can RSVP right here on the website! Go up to the navigation and click "RSVP." If it's not there, it's likely because we're not accepting RSVPs right now, so check back soon.
We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends! Due to venue size limitations, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event.
We are asking guests to silence and stow their phones for an "unplugged" ceremony – we will have incredibly talented photographers and videographers capturing our day, and there will be plenty of time for pictures during the cocktail hour and reception.
Yes, we will have a shuttle to help guests arrive to and depart from the venue. Exact hotel(s) serviced are TBD.
Yes, we will have at least one hotel block but are hoping for two due to the number of out-of-town guests. The bridal party and immediate family members (like parents and siblings) will have first dibs, and after that, it will be first come, first served, so act fast!
