What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the start time provided on your invitation

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for our evening. Wear whatever you like, but please, do not wear white.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be a 13 and up-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be taking place at The Venue at Waddell Place 940 Joy Sparks Rd, McKenzie, TN 38201.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes there is parking available down the hill of the venue. There will be staff showing guest where to park and valet park or shuttle guests on golf carts as needed to and from the parking area.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be taking place indoors, although during the reception we will be opening the barn doors

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We will be having an UNPLUGGED ceremony so please no photography or videoing at that time. Although, during the reception we do encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #MakeMeAMcGee so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the Immediate family will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Yes! Please remember to bring your ID as there will be a bartender serving drinks!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 24, 2022. You will be able to RSVP via online although some have received a RSVP card and can choose the option to use mail or online.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience
