When you RSVP, you will be asked to let us know if you require transport to and from the venue on the day of the wedding. We are providing a shuttle service via either Taxi or Minibus on the day of the wedding, which will be organised to collect you from a central pick up point in the town of Vic (around 2:30pm on the day, exact location and time TBC and will be posted on this site in the coming weeks). This same transport will pick guests up from the venue at the end of the evening, and will take you back to that same central point in Vic, where you can finish your ownward journey to your hotel/accomodation.
If you choose to make your own way to the venue on the day, there is ample free parking at the front of the property, and your car can be left there without restrictions. We appreciate that most people will need to hire cars for the duration of their visit.
Whilst we are expecting (and hoping) for a glorious sunny day in Spain, it is not unheard of for occasional unpredictable weather. We plan for the ceremony and apertif to be held outdoors and the dinner and disco to be indoors, however there will definitely be a contigency Plan B in place, incase the weather decides to throw a curve ball!
We coudn't host a wedding in Spain without taking advantage of their gorgeous cuisine, so please expect the food on the day to gravitate towards spanish delicacies. As part of the RSVP, we ask everyone to please note any dietary restrictions or requirements so we can be certain we are able to accomodate for everyone. Please also let us know if you have any allergies.
There will be plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options available as part of an open bar, that will be running for the duration of the wedding. So put your money away, this one is on us!
Full transparency, it's going to be warm in Spain at the beginning of September. So please ensure you wear something lightweight, and don't wear too many layers. We are relatively flexible with the dress code. However, please no trainers, tracksuits, sportswear or flip flops. (We love you, but we don't want to see your toes in our wedding photos). There are no restrictions with colours (except for the obvious!), so feel free to wear whatever makes you feel dapper (and comfortable!) If we had to describe the dress code in two words, let's go with semi-formal cocktail.
We’ve lived together for quite a while with all our pots and pans and as we don’t need homely gifts we’ve got another plan. We know it's not traditional but an awful lot more fun to have items on our wedding list to help us catch some sun. So if you’d like to give a gift and send us on our way a donation to our honeymoon would really make our day!
Unfortunately, as much as we’d love to invite all of our friends’ children, due to the nature of the event, we can only accommodate children from our immediate family.
We have always intended for this wedding to be a small and intimate affair with our immediate family and closest friends. Unfortunately, we can’t accomodate for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation.
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to either the bride or groom directly (Whatsapp works best)! Jess: 07982826799 Chris: 07432309718
