When we weren’t sharing the kitchen, the pull-up bar, or the dye table, we were sharing personal stories and ideas about life, spirituality, and personal growth. Being around Aaron made me feel comfortable to be my most authentic and confident self knowing my humor, goofiness, and vibes will never go unmatched. Qualifications: Former five-star roommate of the bride, elite-tier sorority Big to the bride, and the bride’s best friend of over a decade. My tasking day of includes expertly managing the train so that the only thing the bride drags is her husband onto the dance floor and making sure the only thing the Gab trips on is her own happiness. If you see me ugly crying during the vows, no you didn’t. When I’m not busy being the Maid of Honor, you can find me feeding everyone and their mom out of my kitchen or on an adventure with my two golden retrievers. I’m single, I’m sentimental, and I’m 100% prepared to give the toast of the century.

Aaron and I go back to our college days at Cal Poly. We were roommates, spent countless hours mountain biking together, and went on some truly awesome spiritual and physical adventures along the way. These days I’m living in San Francisco with my fiancée, but I’ll always have a soft spot for those SLO memories. I am unbelievably honored to be standing next to Aaron on his big day. You and Gab are the best — can’t wait to celebrate!

Howdy! I’m Olivia. Gab is one of my dearest pals. We met in college and what could’ve been but a fleeting chapter in both of our lives turned into endless nights of deep conversations that center growth and love, and holding each other in a tender gentleness that I hope all humans can find in a friendship. Gab’s friendship has been a soft place to land and also a most loyal promise to be my biggest hype girl. She is the one I turn to when I need a belly laugh that makes me gasp for air and when I need to remind myself that girlhood is to be treasured. We are known to dance in a rain storm and stomp in puddles and scream sing any song at the top of our lungs. She is one of my great love stories. I am so tickled that she found someone equally as kind and special to spend her days with. I love you forever Gab.

I am so excited to be a part of this beautiful wedding between Aaron and Gabrielle. My name is Austin McLellan, I’m a corporate finance attorney in San Francisco and I had the pleasure of not only being friends with Aaron but living with him at 281 Donna Way in San Luis Obispo while we were both going to Cal Poly. That time I lived with Aaron, he inspired a profound change in my worldview, teaching me how grateful we should all be to be alive and how self-improvement can be key to being happy with who I am. I love Aaron for not only his brilliant mind, his ability to never be on time, or his inability to pick what sauce to have with any meal he has, but for his love for his fellow man. I am originally from Vacaville, California, went to law school at the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!), and in my free time I love hosting game nights, shooting film photography, working out, making new friends, and listening to my Billy Joel vinyl records! If you’re ever in San Francisco, I know just where to go for dumplings! 😉

I joined Pi Phi in college hoping to grow my community, and that’s where I found Olivia and Gab. What started with our first wine night turned into moving in together and many more late nights talking. We still have our group chat that’s still called Roomies Who Wine to this day. Since then, we’ve all gone in different directions—moving around, finishing and restarting school, getting married, and even having babies—but Gab has been there through all of it. I feel so lucky to call her my friend and to be standing by her side on her wedding day.

Jake here. I’ve been lucky enough to work and ride bikes with Aaron here in New Mexico, my home state, for quite a few years now. I think I even sat in on one of his work interviews. Anyway, he’s been a super solid friend and MTB bud all along the way. It’s been fun to see him grow and hit all his major personal goals!

I’m the original Erin in Gab’s life and I’ll never let anyone forget it ;) I met Gab in high school and we had so much fun wreaking havoc on the streets of Farmington (by cruising with the windows down listening to Hoodie Allen and being regulars at Sonic, probably on our way to youth group or the Mayor’s Teen Advisory Council.) Gab and I live 6 minutes away from each other in Albuquerque, where I work at the New Mexico Tourism Department (#newmexicotrue). My favorite things are coffee, music, and having a good time. Fun fact: Gab is one of my emergency contacts!

My name is Marquez. I’m a full-time artist and former snake wrangler in the film industry. For the past 15 years, Aaron and I have been going on adventures, making big life decisions, and learning to embrace wherever they lead. We first bonded over RC cars when we were nine years old, never imagining it would eventually lead to us becoming roommates in the North Valley where we both grew up. Now I get to witness his greatest adventure yet, and I’m grateful to stand by his side as it begins.

Hi 👋, my name is Annalie. I live in Southern Utah, but I met Gab in high school in Farmington. Her, Erin, and I were a little trio 💃💃💃. Gab and I became close when we were the only lower classmen to “make” the varsity volleyball team and then subsequently warmed the bench all season. From there we bonded, giggled and cheered on the team. Now she’s stuck with me. I am a nurse practitioner, one of the 900 nurses Gab has collected in her day, and all medical advice will be billed out and proceeds go to the honeymoon fund. I’m so lucky to have a kind and spunky friend like Gab. I cherish her dearly and can’t wait to celebrate her and Aaron’s day 💕!

Hello! I'm Garrett, Gabrielle’s oldest brother. Like Aaron, I love spending time outdoors. So naturally one of my earliest memories of getting to know him was riding trails with him, Frank and Shane in the foothills. Trail riding isn’t my strongest discipline so it was hard to hold a conversation while I was sucking wind but I knew then that Aaron was an incredibly kind and talented man. In the years since we’ve shared many great experiences cycling, hiking, shooting, playing soccer, sharing meals and talking cars. It’s been a pleasure to watch Aaron and Gabrielle’s relationship grow and I'm incredibly grateful to be a part of this wedding celebration!

Hi I’m Shane. I’m one of Gabrielle’s older brothers. I first met Aaron incidentally on a mountain bike ride where our respective groups had stopped at the same place on a trail and chatted about each other's bikes, lo and behold (and unbeknownst to me) Aaron and my sister had already gone on a few dates and were officially an item. Since then, their relationship has grown and I’ve had the pleasure of watching them grow. We’ve had many adventures on the bikes, family game nights, sibling hang outs and as always the odd random house project during informal visits. I’m very excited to welcome Aaron into the family and my wife, son and I are lucky to have such a caring, thoughtful and fun uncle around for our son. We’re excited to watch Aaron and Gabrielle start their life together!

I am Gab and Aaron's first nephew and I'm gonna be the most handsomest ring bearer! I am the first grandchild/nephew on both sides of the family, which means I'm the center of attention and everyone fights over me. I have the cutest laugh and smile and melt everyone's hearts! I'm pretty sure my aunt and uncle were relieved to hear I was on the way, not just so they could finally have a nephew, but that they would have a ringbearer at their wedding. Without me, this party would be so boring. I'm so excited to be the most special baby at the wedding!

Joey is our sweet 7-year-old German Shephard mix that we love oh so much! Gab rescued her in 2019 from Shiprock, NM, and immediately fell in love with her. When Joey met Aaron for the first time, she could sense the good vibes and has become quite the daddy's girl. Joey tends to listen more to her dad these days. She loves to fetch, snuggle on the couch or our bed with a soft blanket, and go on walks. Her personality cracks us up and she loves to go anywhere and everywhere with her paw-rents.
