We’re so excited to celebrate with you in beautiful WaterColor! We highly recommend sharing a home or condo in WaterColor or Seaside with friends or family who are also attending —it’s the perfect way to make a whole weekend of it! You’ll be close to all the wedding fun, plus you can soak up the beachy vibes together. If a home or condo rental isn’t in the cards, the WaterColor Inn, Camp Creek Inn, or the Lodge on 30A are charming local hotels. Wherever you stay, you’ll be in for a sunshine-filled, unforgettable weekend!
Getting around WaterColor and the neighboring town of Seaside is part of the fun! Most rental homes come with bikes, which are the go-to way to explore—everything is just a quick ride or even a short walk away. If you need extra wheels, we recommend checking out Big Daddy’s Bike Shop, or Butterfly Bike and Kayak for rentals. Prefer to cruise in style? Golf carts are another super fun option—The Electric Cart Company has you covered. Whether you’re pedaling, strolling, or zipping along in a cart, everything you’ll want to see (and eat!) is just minutes away. It’s the most charming way to soak in all those coastal vibes!
While you’re in town, there’s so much to enjoy beyond the wedding festivities! WaterColor and Seaside are full of amazing restaurants—perfect for everything from a casual beach bite to a romantic dinner. If you’re staying in WaterColor, most homes include access to the beautiful community pools (perfect for a lazy afternoon in the sun!). Be sure to hit the beach, too—you can bring your own setup or rent chairs and umbrellas for the full seaside experience. Don’t miss a stroll down to Seaside Square, where you’ll find adorable shops, great food, and often live concerts or outdoor movies. On Saturday mornings, the Seaside Farmers Market is a must for local treats and goodies. For the latest happenings, check out Seaside’s Facebook page—there’s always something fun going on!
WaterColor and 30A holds such a special spot in our hearts! WaterColor has been the bride’s family vacation spot for over 25 years, filled with countless memories of beach days, bike rides, and sunsets. When the groom’s family came to visit, they instantly fell in love with it too—and it quickly became our favorite getaway together as a couple... to make it even more meaningful… it’s where we got engaged! We can’t wait to share this beautiful, sentimental place with all of you as we start our next chapter.
We love all the little ones in our lives, but for our wedding events, we’ve decided to keep things adults-only (with the exception of our sweet nieces and nephews). While we know some of you may be turning this into a family vacation—and we think that’s amazing!—we kindly ask that children sit out the wedding festivities so parents can relax, celebrate, and dance the night away with us. Thank you so much for understanding.
For our welcome party, we’re keeping things beach casual—think relaxed, fun, and coastal chic! For the guys, polos or short-sleeve button-downs are perfect, and nice shorts are totally fine. For the ladies, we suggest a cute beach dress or flowy sundress—something comfortable yet festive for an evening by the water. Please wear blue hues. We’ll be soaking up that laid-back beach vibe, so come ready to mingle, sip, and celebrate in true seaside style!
For our wedding, we’re asking guests to dress in beach cocktail attire—think elevated but comfortable! For the ladies, cocktail dresses or midi dresses (feel free to embrace the coastal colors and breezy fabrics!). For the gentlemen, we suggest dress pants or chinos with a button-down shirt and blazer—ties are welcome but not required. Since we’ll be celebrating in Florida, keep in mind that lighter fabrics and shoes suitable for outdoor settings will make the evening even more enjoyable.
Weather permitting, we’re hoping to celebrate as much of our day outdoors as possible! Our ceremony will take place in the beautiful Cerulean Park, followed by a cocktail hour under the open sky. The reception will be a mix of both indoor and outdoor spaces at the WaterColor LakeHouse, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds—dancing under the stars and relaxing in the cozy indoor setting. Our welcome dinner will be outside as well.
The wedding welcome party will start at 5:45.
Our ceremony is starting at 5. Please arrive 30 minutes prior.
Depending on where you are staying, you may be able to walk, take a golf cart, or drive to the ceremony/reception. There is parking available around the park where the ceremony will be held, as well as a parking lot at the reception venue, WaterColor LakeHouse, which also offers limited parking.
Depending on where you are staying, you may be able to walk, bike, take a golf cart, or drive to the welcome party. There is a parking garage available as well as parking on the street.
