Since the Zion Canyon Shuttle does not operate on December 6th, you’ll be able to drive directly to the Temple of Sinawava for the ceremony. We recommend arriving 30–45 minutes early to allow time for parking. Parking is limited inside the park, so carpooling is encouraged.
Due to permit limitations within Zion National Park, we are allowed 35 chairs at the ceremony site. We kindly ask that immediate family be given priority seating. If you’re standing, not to worry. The ceremony will be short and sweet, and we truly appreciate your understanding.
Enter Zion National Park from either the South Entrance near Springdale or the East Entrance on Highway 9. Once on Zion Canyon Rd, continue about 4.5 miles (15 minutes) to the Temple of Sinawava, the final stop on the park’s shuttle route (Stop 9). Keep left at the “Y” and park in the designated spaces. The ceremony will be in the sandy riverside area directly across from the parking spaces. Look for our wedding signage to guide you. You can also enter “Temple of Sinawava Parking Lot” into Google Maps or Apple Maps for directions. Just be sure to start your GPS before losing service in the park. Need a visual? The reception will be at a private cabin in Orderville, Utah, on the east side of the park. It’s about a 1-hour drive from the Temple of Sinawava (allow extra time in case of traffic through the Zion–Mt. Carmel Tunnel). Cell service is limited in the canyon between the ceremony and reception, so caravanning is recommended. The full address will be included in your formal invitation.
Transportation will not be provided. Guests will need to drive or carpool between the ceremony and reception locations.
We’re asking everyone to wear black attire. Formal, cocktail, or dressy casual all work as long as it's black. The ceremony is outdoors with some walking on a maintained path, so choose shoes accordingly. Please do not worry or stress if your outfit has white, neutral, or other accent colors, that is just fine.
Weather in Zion in early December can be unpredictable. Expect daytime temperatures in the 40s–50s°F. Consider bringing a jacket/coat for the outdoor ceremony.
Yes, there are restrooms at the Temple of Sinawava shuttle stop.
Cell service in Zion can be spotty, especially once you’re inside the canyon. T-Mobile and AT&T typically lose service once you begin the drive along Zion Canyon Rd. However, Wi-Fi will be available at the cabin in Orderville, so you’ll be able to reconnect once you arrive.
We’ll have appetizers and drinks ready when you arrive at the cabin. Dinner will be served by Los Carnales Taco Truck, which will be parked on site from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Guests will choose one entrée in advance when RSVPing. Please make your selection so we can pass your order along to the food truck ahead of time. All meals are served as listed. No substitutions or modifications will be available.
Please RSVP by October 17, 2025 so we can plan accordingly.
We’re just excited to celebrate with you, and your presence is truly the best gift. No gifts are necessary.
Due to space and park permit limits, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. If it says "the family,” that includes your children too.
