A great way to learn more about our closest National Park! Please note that this is the Visitor Center only and is free for everyone! The actual National Park is made up of 5 islands located off the coast - ferry service to the islands is available through Island Packers with sailings from both Ventura Harbor and Channel Islands Harbor. For those who might choose to make the trip to the islands, Spring is a wonderful time to visit as much of the foliage will be in bloom, and the weather will be mild. However, please be advised that the islands are un-developed, and there are only very basic amenities available. The best activities on the islands are hiking, nature watching, and swimming at the beach!
