The bride and groom grew up in the same town just minutes apart, but they didn't cross paths until high school. They had the same friends, classes together where he would help her with math, and even sat at the same lunch table, but they never truly got to know each other. It wasn't until the summer going into the junior year that they officially met each other. Instantly, there was a connection. In September of 2020, The groom officially asked the Bride to be his girlfriend. From that moment on, they were inseparable. They went on vacations together and camping trips, spent many days and nights with friends and family, and even got a puppy together. They went on to graduate high school in 2022 and begin their adult lives together. The groom left for the Marines in June of 2022, and the bride left for college to pursue nursing later that summer. After 3 years of visits, phone calls, and 2 years of thousands of miles apart and time zone differences, the bride went to visit the groom for winter break in Japan, where he has been stationed. On December 20, 2024, while on her trip, they went to a Christmas festival filled with beautiful lights, fireworks, and Christmas festivities. Little did the bride know that the groom would ask her later that night to spend the rest of her life with him. A Christmas Japan engagement was truly the most special and magical experience for both of them. The bride and groom cherish these memories and their time spent together and cannot wait for their friends and family to be a part of their special day.
