Nick is Joe's younger brother and has been his best friend since day one. The two grew up doing just about everything together including playing sports, watching sports, and eating good. Pretty much the same things they do now! Their favorite memories with each other include going to see the final home Warriors game at Oracle Arena and also seeing the "Pick at the Stick" at the final 49ers home game at Candlestick Park.

From elementary school pals to lifelong best friends, Katie and Lauren's bond has stood the test of time. They first met in elementary school and instantly clicked over their shared love for American Girl dolls, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, and playing sports coached by their dads. As they grew up, they even had a phase of wearing matching outfits to school! Their shared passion for Gilmore Girls has been a constant throughout the years, and today, they still enjoy binge-watching episodes together whenever they get the chance. Nowadays, Katie and Lauren are often found making memories at country concerts, sharing charcuterie boards, and going on mother-daughter outings together.
Gordon Deacon

Joe and Gordon met and very quickly became great friends over their love of the 49ers. The first year of their friendship they went to five 49ers games together including the Super Bowl! Joe and Gordon enjoy their trips to Arnold, hitting the slopes on their skis and snowboards, and enjoying each other's company with a drink in hand. Joe and Katie both recently moved to Livermore where Gordon and Anna live and are looking forward to many years of friendship! Gordon is also a big part of the reason Joe and Katie met, inviting them both on trips with friends or out to dinner. Its only fitting that he is the officiant for their wedding to marry them!

Anna and Katie's friendship blossomed in their early days picking flowers at their brothers' T-ball games and have since become the best of friends. They spent their childhood playing soccer together, enjoying trips to Lake Tahoe, and sharing lots of laughs at family parties. Today, you can often find them chatting about their latest reads or reality TV shows obsessions, exploring farmers markets, and lounging poolside together during backyard BBQs. Fun fact: Joe made a promise to Anna's husband Gordon in 2020 that he'd move to Livermore, and four years later, that promise came true! Now they live just five minutes away from each other, enjoying weekly get togethers.
Mitch Shapero

Mitch and Joe first met around the age of 10 playing against each other in NJB basketball for Coyote Creek. They reconnected in their mid-teens once they both started working at their local grocery store Nob Hill as bag boys. They began to grow a very close friendship that carried them through college at San Jose State University and after college when they moved in together as roommates at Parkwest. Their similar interests for bay area sports, good eats, and nights out in the city has made Mitch one of Joe's longest tenured and best friends.

Meg and Katie's friendship began in elementary school, quickly becoming besties, and has been full of excitement ever since! Growing up they loved swimming after school, playing softball year-round, and vacationing with family in Lake Tahoe. No matter what the two of them are doing there's always non-stop laughter! A few of their unforgettable adventures include exploring national parks while road tripping to Colorado, experiencing Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and going to MLB Spring Training in Arizona. Today, they love catching up over card games, thrift shopping together, and debating over the best love interest in Gilmore Girls (Team Jess!!).

Anthony and Joe met in college at San Jose State University through their mutual friend Mitch. Since then, Anthony and Joe have become the best of friends! They love to watch sports together, go to Disneyland, try new food, and play fantasy football. For Joe and Anthony, fantasy football is a year-round passion with their dynasty leagues. Anthony lived with Joe and his parents, Bob and Loretta, for about two years. They consider him their third son!

Katie, Joe's younger sister, and Katie instantly clicked, forging a bond over cheering on Bay Area sports teams, enjoying lively game nights, and sharing an unforgettable family trip to Hawaii! Their connection extends beyond sharing a name (soon to share a last name too!) - they both have a passion for thrift shopping, binge-watching reality TV shows, and savoring delicious meals together.
Ryan Moss

Joe and Ryan met once Joe and Katie starting dating for the first time back in 2021. The two share their interests in Nintendo games such as Mario Kart and the Legend of Zelda along with movies such as Star Wars, and board games such as Catan. Ryan is so good at these games that Joe really needs to step his game when they play if he wants a chance to win.

Julie and Katie first crossed paths through softball, but their friendship truly blossomed when they reunited in 2021 at a Zoom information session for grad school. Soon after, they found themselves working together at a rehab clinic, where their bond deepened into a close friendship. Their connection is rooted in a shared sense of humor and outlook on life, which has always made them feel like the "just get each other". They both have a passion for thrifting, navigating the world of occupational therapy, a mutual love for Jelly Cats, and a playful silliness that keeps their friendship light-hearted and fun. One of their favorite activities is playing pickleball with their fiances, where they always enjoy a spirited and laughter-filled game.

Sarkis and Joe met through Joe's brother, Nick, where they both attended Leland High School. Joe would occasionally give Sarkis a ride home from school after picking up his brother Nick. Since 2010, Joe and Sarkis have become great friends where they share their love for the 49ers, golf, and BBQ. Their friends have a tough time deciding who is the better pitmaster, but I'm sure if they think hard enough about it, they know what the right answer is.
Alyssa Dizon

On the first day of grad school, Katie knew they were destined to be friends after bumping into each other in the parking lot and helping one another find their way to class—then coincidentally running into each other again on the second day! Since then, Alyssa and Katie have become fast friends, bonding over their love of binge-watching the latest reality shows, starting new craft projects, and planning fun outings like trivia nights, mini golf, and brunch. Together, there's never a dull moment! Katie and Alyssa often get lost in deep conversations, whether it's about navigating the ups and downs of grad school or debating whether they should go to Disney on Ice. From camping trips and exploring new cafes for study dates to cheering at sporting events or relaxing with a picnic at the park, they always find joy in each other’s company. With them, there’s never a shortage of laughter or fun!

James and Joe met through mutual friends back in 2017. They grew very close in 2020 during the pandemic nearly golfing every day with the other members of the Pendelton Golf Team, including Matt & Gordon. (It was hard to find someone to cut Joe's hair as well!) A few of their favorite memories together include a trip down to LA to watch the 49ers clinch a playoff spot with a comeback win over the Rams at Levis South, Paso Robles to celebrate Joe's 30th birthday, and a winter weekend away at the Deacon's Arnold cabin.

Chloe and Katie are living proof that icebreaker games really work! After bonding during grad school orientation, they have built a close friendship through hours of carpooling on Highway 24, being each other's partners and guinea pigs during labs, and chatting for hours during sleepovers and game nights—always making their time together memorable! Katie and Chloe love discussing their latest podcast and true crime obsessions, grabbing boba or matcha lattes before study dates, and enjoying backyard BBQs, often with a game of volleyball or a craft project. Together with Alyssa, they have become inseparable in their grad program and are affectionately known as "The Trio." They’ve created lasting memories camping, picnicking, and thrifting—whatever they do is guaranteed to be fun!
Matt Maksim

Matt and Joe met back in 2017 through mutual friends and really became close when they flew to New Orleans in 2019 for the 49ers vs. Saints game. Matt is another member of the Pendelton Golf Team (along with James & Gordon) where the four of them loved playing golf at Sunken Gardens almost every evening in the summer of 2020. To this day, the four of them still get super competitive when they golf together but its always a ton of fun. Matt and Joe love to joke with each other about high school where Matt (St. Francis Lancers) and Joe (Archbishop Mitty Monarchs) played football against each other. Go Monarchs!
Mark Messenger

Mark and Joe met through their mutual friend Mitch while they were both working at Outback in the summer of 2015. The two have been very close ever since. They enjoy going on their boys trips with their friends, eating great Mexican food, and playing Call of Duty during the week. Ever since they met, Mark and Joe have always had a great time together!
