What's the dress code?

Black tie and gowns preferred but suit/tie and cocktail dresses work as well.

Where do we park?

The Nixon Library has a parking lot where you may self-park for free for the duration of the wedding.

Is there a shuttle from the hotel to the wedding venue?

Answer

There is no shuttle from the hotel to the wedding venue. We would recommend an Uber/Lyft if you plan on drinking at the wedding.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What time will the wedding end?

Our reception will end at 10pm.

Why are you getting married on a Monday?

Answer

Great question! We wanted to get married in the fall and it was important to family that we have an "8" in the date so that left 3 dates in October. When we checked with our wedding venue, the 8th seemed too soon, the 18th was already booked, so we decided to go with the 28th!
