Answer

Please arrive. no more than 30 minutes before the ceremony time unless you are checking into accommodation. The venue does not have a reception area but the staff will be there to greet you! The bar will also not be available until after the ceremony time so if you would like to get an alcoholic drink before you'll be directed to the nearest pub!

Parking & Directions

Answer

There is plenty of onsight parking, please follow the signs on arrival. Cars may be left overnight but the must be collected by 11am the next day & are left at the owners risk. Written directions and maps can be found on the south farm website under -Contact us-.

Accomodation

Answer

Guests staying on site at the venue are welcome to check in/set up from 12 noon on the day. Check out is at 10.30am! - please leave the key fobs by the front doors. Breakfast is included for those staying at the venue and in the Wagons. it will be served in the Horse Barn, it is a full English breakfast with tea, coffee, yogurt, fruit & toast.

Smoking and Vaping

Answer

South Farm operates a strict NO SMOKING OR VAPING policy inside the venue or its rooms. Smoking is allowed outside & in the gardens but please use the ashtrays provided & avoid throwing butts on the ground, under trees or near buildings due to fire risks.

Alcohol

Answer

South farm is a licensed venue and consumption of personal alcohol is strictly prohibited. A corkage charge will be enforced if the condition is broken and they do reserve the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave, this applies to alcohol in the bedrooms. They also follow the think 25 rule and will not serve alcohol to guests they believe to look under 25 unless they have valid ID.

Children

Children must be under the direct supervision of their parents or carers at all times, there are known hazards including three fairly open ponds, animals, uneven surfaces, fire pit, numerous barriers, gates, farm machinery & a general rural environment.

South farm will have a bar for you to purchase your drinks they do accept card and cash however they do not support AMEX cards.

Photography & Dress Codes

All photography is welcome, especially at the reception, we would love to see your candid photos and there will be a QR code at the reception for you to upload all of those photos to a shared album, However we politely ask that nothing gets shared to social media until the day after the wedding! (lets save the phone notifications we will get for another day!) We are not strict on the dress code however for our American side family and friends it will be September in England which averages 16c/61F temperature with the ceremony outside so please plan accordingly. We would also like to kindly request the guests to steer clear of the wedding party colours which are the following; Green, Beige, White.

Gifts & Cards

Answer

The most important thing to us is that you're able to come and celebrate our wedding.
