The venue is about a 2 hour train ride from Paris, France, or an 8 hour train ride from Geneva, Switzerland, depending on where you choose to fly into. You are welcome to rent a car, but last time we visited we traveled by train using the OMIO app on our phones, and it was a seamless process to buy tickets and travel to and from different cities! The trains are spacious, clean, and made for long travels. You can also travel to Spain, Italy, Germany, etc. using this same app, if you are choosing to extend your trip and visit other locations! The MONTBARD or LES LAUMES ALESIA train stations are going to be the closest stops to the venue! You can take a taxi from the train stations to your designated lodging, rent a car in town/near the stations, or rent a car in Paris and drive down in lieu of the train.

France uses UBER or TAXI G7 as ride share applications. Both are easy to use and convenient to order rides to and from monuments, hotels, restaurants, etc. We ended up using G7 the most while visiting. This is for PARIS only. Central France does not use this service. For rides and to and from the wedding venue you will need to do you research and book/utilize a regular taxi service in the area! PSA: LYFT DOES NOT EXIST IN EUROPE.

I highly recommend adding temporary international minutes for texting and calling as well as internet service for your travels. This made our trip seamless, being able to use the internet to order taxis, look up directions/use maps, make reservations, or call local locations we needed information from. Most service carriers should have the option, ranging from $10-$20 per day.
