How did we meet? Well, that's a heavily debated story. Was it through friends? At work? Online? We like to believe it was a combination of the three. We officially met for the first time at a work conference in September of 2022, although our story began a few months prior. On a warm summer day of that same year, Molly was scrolling on Instagram when she came across a picture of a boy that stopped her in her tracks. He was cute, looked friendly, and seemed fun - and we’re not just talking about his dog. Intrigued, Molly reached out to a mutual friend to get the scoop on moonmanmaroon. Coincidentally a few weeks later, Paul got a job at Molly's company. Knowing this must be fate, Molly reached out to Paul on Microsoft Teams (aka Corporate Tinder). We quickly became virtual friends, which led to becoming friends on Instagram. This is where our story finds itself at a crossroads – Molly claims Paul slid into her DMs. Paul maintains he was simply "being friendly" by responding to Molly's picture with a fire flame emoji. A classic case of he said/she said. We officially met in person at a work event a few weeks later and immediately hit it off. Paul was drawn to Molly's love of dance, and Molly to Paul's life of the party personality. We were two peas in a pod. We found ourselves both as single guests at the same wedding just a few weeks later, where we had our first date in the hotel lobby - a romantic meal of Cheez-its & M&M's. It was the first of 15 weddings we’ve been to as a couple, with number 16 being our own. Today, we live in Pleasant Hill with our cat, Alvin, and our dog, Pj (Paul Junior). We are so excited to be married and to celebrate our big day with all of you!
