We met the classic millennial way....swiping right! After two weeks of texting and an accidental ghosting, we finally met for beers at Strange Days Brewing on a cold Friday night. Several drinks, another bar, and 5 hours of easy conversation later, we both realized this could really be something. And we have been together ever since.

In the Fall of 2022 we were both in New York City for an extended trip for Ashley's work. On the 3rd anniversary of when we first met, which also happened to be our last day in New York, Eric weaved Ashley through Central Park until they came upon the famous Bow Bridge where he got down on one knee and with his Grandmother's ring asked a question he said he "had been meaning to ask for a while."
