After a few months of wedding planning, we made the difficult decision to cancel our wedding and elope in New York City's Central Park on April 26th, 2024. It was a beautiful day full of love, laughter, and celebration.
Although we decided to celebrate our love only with the company of each other, please know that you are in our thoughts and forever will be in our hearts. We thank you for your love and support and we cannot wait to celebrate our love and marriage with all of you!
the day began with NYC bagels, then we stopped by a local florist and hand-picked Kayla's bouquet before going to Manhattan City Hall
fun fact: Kayla has an unhealthy fascination with rats and was looking out for one throughout the shoot. Jake thought he saw one at one point, but it was just a pigeon🐀🥲
Jake recited his vows perfectly but Kayla couldn’t even get past the 2nd sentence without a few tears

we celebrated our matrimony with dinner at Verōnika, followed by CVS face masks and charades
we kept the celebration going the next day with a trip to World Spa in Brooklyn!
yankees lost :( but we won because we discovered a sauna/bathhouse right by our hotel shortly after :)
