Nikki and Matt initially met in 2008 at Trail’s End Camp and were close friends for years. They both attended the University of Michigan where, after a long pursuit, Matt convinced Nikki to ask him out. The rest is history. From Beach Lake, PA to Ann Arbor, MI to NYC and Atlanta, GA -- After almost 9 years of dating, Matt decided to pop the question on New Years Day 2022. Nikki was told they were going to a fancy dinner that night in Dallas and when they got to the restaurant, they were led to a room labeled "Private". As she opened the door, Nikki was greeted by the whole family (a picture of Theo). Matt proposed and without skipping a beat, Nikki responded with the easiest "yes" of her life. They can't wait to celebrate with their families and closest friends in September 2024! Until then, Matt and Nikki will be busy embarking on their surgical residencies in their new home in Dallas, Texas!
