While you're in town, we highly recommend a visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium! This isn't your average aquarium. CMA is a working marine animal rescue and rehabilitation center, home to dolphins, sea turtles, otters, stingrays, sharks, and more. You may even recognize it as the home of Winter the dolphin, made famous by the movie Dolphin Tale! It's a wonderful experience for all ages and a perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon before the festivities begin.
Captain Bligh's Landing
Looking for some fun before the big day? Captain Bligh's Landing is a mini golf course located right across the street from the venue! It's the perfect way to enjoy the Florida sunshine, have a few laughs, and maybe settle some friendly competition among family and friends. Whether you're a seasoned putter or just in it for the fun, it's a great way to spend some time together before we all celebrate.
Makin Waves
For the adventure lovers in the group, Makin' Waves is a must while you're in Clearwater Beach! Located right on the beach behind Shephard's Beach Resort, Makin' Waves offers jet ski rentals in the largest free-riding area on Clearwater Beach, where you might even spot some dolphins along the way. Not into jet skis? They also offer stand up paddleboard and kayak rentals, as well as beach chair and umbrella rentals if you'd rather relax and soak up the Florida sunshine. Rentals start at $30 and we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. Please note that riders must be 18 or older to rent and certain requirements apply, so be sure to check their website for full details.
Surf-Style with FlowRider Indoor Surfing
For the thrill seekers in the group, look no further than Surf Style on Clearwater Beach Walk! Home to the only FlowRider indoor surfing machine in the area, this is your chance to catch a wave rain or shine. Whether you're a seasoned boarder or a total beginner, instructors are on hand to help you ride like a pro. It's an unforgettable experience and a great way to work up an appetite before the big celebration! And if surfing isn't your thing, Surf Style is also a massive retail store packed with everything you could need for a beach vacation including swimwear, apparel, accessories, souvenirs, and more. Sunsets at Pier 60
If there's one thing you absolutely cannot miss while you're in Clearwater, it's the sunset at Pier 60. Every evening, locals and visitors gather at this iconic pier on Clearwater Beach to watch the sun dip below the Gulf of America in a blaze of color. It's truly one of those breathtaking moments that reminds you why Florida is so special. And since we're already celebrating love this weekend, why not take it all in? The pier also hosts a nightly Sunsets at Pier 60 festival with live entertainment, street performers, and local artisans making it the perfect way to end a beautiful day.

As the largest of the Frenchy's locations, Rockaway offers open-air beachfront dining right on the Gulf of Mexico with stunning sunset views and live music daily. The menu is packed with fresh Gulf seafood and Floribbean-style dishes. Don't miss the famous Super Grouper sandwich, the she crab soup, or a signature Rum Runner from one of their two beachside bars. It's the perfect spot to kick back, soak up the Florida vibes, and enjoy some incredible food with family and friends.
