September 5, 2024, was already a milestone, as Endia had just officially closed on her new townhouse that morning. However, the day’s most significant blessing arrived that evening when she met Calvin for the first time on their first date, introduced by a mutual friend. Calvin didn't just show up; he came correct. He approached Endia with a bouquet of roses, a bottle of champagne, and a card to celebrate her new home. From the start, Calvin’s intentions were clear. He pursued Endia with a rare and admirable consistency, and by that November, they officially began their journey as a couple spending Thanksgiving with each other’s families. They spent the next few months blending their lives, hosting cookouts at the house and sharing their love for the city of Atlanta. Most importantly, Endia’s heart grew as she embraced her role as a bonus mom to Calvin's daughter, Celina. In March 2026, to celebrate a few birthdays, she went to New York City for a "girls' weekend" with her mother, and Calvin’s mother and sister. While taking in the city lights and Broadway shows, the mothers played their roles, cleverly suggested that a proposal wasn't happening anytime soon for the two. Their performance was so convincing that Endia returned home certain that a proposal was quite some time away. Just three days after landing back in Atlanta, Calvin told Endia they were headed to a "classy" experience. Little did she know, the real celebration was just beginning. That day, Calvin curated her dream proposal in an intimate creative studio, with just the two of them, tons of rose petals and a photographer to capture the moment. It was an easy “Yes" for her, followed by a surprise dinner with their parents — who, impressively, managed to keep it all a secret (shoutout to the mommas!).
