Emily and Brendan met for the first time in February of 2020. Emily was in the first year of her PhD program at FSU and Brendan had just graduated from FSU the previous spring - Go Noles! During that spring semester, Emily decided to go home to North Carolina for what she thought would be a week of spring break. That week turned into almost 6-weeks due to the pandemic. One day during that period, Emily received a knock on her front door, and it was Brendan! During that trip, Brendan convinced Emily to finally go back to Florida. Since that moment, the two have been inseparable and have celebrated so many life moments together. Some of their favorites so far have been: Emily (finally) graduating with her PhD and finally entering adulthood and Brendan becoming an Officer in the United States Navy and getting his wings of gold. Currently, they are living in Pace, Florida with their pup Dixie (aka bubby). Emily and Brendan will be moving to San Diego in the coming months. Emily and Brendan are so excited to be sharing their special day with you! Fun fact: Emily and Brendan hung out for the first time on February 28th, 2020 and will be celebrating their marriage six years to the day of that first meeting!
