Question

Will there be parking at the Ceremony?

Answer

Complimentary parking is not available at the Cathedral, due to our Ceremony taking place during Archdiocese business hours. We recommend parking at iParkit Logan Square (1815 Cherry Street) or Gateway Parking Garage (1525 Spring Street). Both garages are about a 5-minute walk to the Cathedral. Guests may also take advantage of our complimentary valet at The Switch House, park at the venue, and use Uber/Lyft to get into Center City for the Ceremony.

Will there be parking at Switch House Hotel and Riversuites at The Battery?

Answer

For guests staying at Switch House Hotel, (and any wedding guest not staying overnight) there will be complimentary, valet parking beginning the day of our wedding, November 15th, through the morning of November 16th. Overnight parking for guests staying on November 14th is $40. Guests staying at Riversuites have access to a limited number of complimentary spaces at the front of the hotel. We highly recommend arriving as early as possible to take advantage of these parking spaces.

What if the limited spots at Riversuites are full?

Answer

If these spaces are full, guests will be directed to park at the Rivers Casino garage. This garage is 0.3 miles away, located at 1001 N Delaware Avenue and guests will receive complimentary parking and a shuttle to the hotel. If you'd like to avoid parking at Rivers Casino, there is a paid lot in The Switch House complex, operated by Parkway. The lot is on the North Side of the complex. Overnight rates are $29.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie attire. We ask that men wear a tuxedo and women wear a floor-length gown.

Is Black Tie attire required for the Church Ceremony?

Answer

No. While our Reception is Black Tie, you are more than welcome to wear something different to the Ceremony. We would recommend formal or semi-formal attire at the Cathedral. Feel free to use the time in between the Ceremony and Reception to change into Black Tie.

Is there transportation between the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

There will not be shuttles between Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and The Switch House. Please arrange transportation if you plan on attending the Ceremony.

We kindly ask to RSVP no later than October 15th, 2024.

Am I able to bring my children to the wedding events?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have chosen to make our special day adults-only. We thank you for your understanding.

Am I able to bring a plus-one to the wedding events?

Answer

Due to venue restrictions, we kindly ask that you RSVP only for the guests to whom your invitation was addressed.
