Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding is a Black-Tie Formal event, and we kindly ask that all guests adhere to this dress code. Men should wear a tuxedo with black neckties or bowties and women should wear a formal floor-length gown, dress, or pantsuit. We look forward to celebrating with you in your finest attire! Gentlemen - If you don't already own a tux, we recommend renting the jacket, pants, tuxedo shirt, and bow tie from either of the great rental options below: Friar Tux - Online fitting or in-store at showrooms throughout Southern California (20% off using the code SUMR25B). Nearest store for Sunday return is Friary Tux Northridge. The Black Tux - Online fitting or in-store at showrooms in One Paseo (San Diego) or Santa Monica (LA). Order early for auto-discount code. Men's Wearhouse - Online fitting or in-store at showrooms throughout Southern California (with Perfect Fit Rewards Program save $60 off full tuxedo rental package). What time should I arrive?

Answer

We highly recommend arriving on time—partly because we love you, but mostly because there’s a welcome drink with your name on it. Don’t keep it waiting! We ask that everyone arrives between 3:45 pm and 4:00 pm to allow ample time to park and get seated. For those planning to Uber or Lyft to our wedding, we recommend planning ahead to avoid price surges and long wait times as many other guests will be requesting ride-share services at the same time.

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

While shuttle services will not be available to the venue for the ceremony, shuttles will be provided to the Hilton Woodland Hills and Marriott Warner Center Woodland Hills, starting at 10:00 pm and running continuously until 1:00 am.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Ample parking is available, and all cars will be valet-parked for your convenience.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be taking place outdoors at the same location. October weather in Santa Susana can be warm during the day, with temperatures often reaching the high-70s or low-80s, but it can cool down quickly, dipping into the 50s or 60s at night. While outdoor heaters will be provided at the reception, we recommend bringing a light coat or shawl for the evening.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony to allow everyone to fully experience the moment. We promise we’ll share the good photos later! You are welcome to take photos when cocktail hour begins.

Can I bring a "Plus One"?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We have chosen to make our special day an adult-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us! Your understanding means the world to us and we can't wait to celebrate with you.
