Set amidst more than 1,000 lush acres in the Berkshires, Pleasant Valley’s varied trails wind through forests, meadows, wetlands, and along the slopes of Lenox Mountain, making this site an excellent location for easy-to-strenuous hiking. It's also only 5 minutes away from Life House and Miraval.
Hike Olivia's Overlook
This is a great gentle hike with beautiful views of the Berkshires mountains.
Play a Round at Wyndhurst Golf & Club
A historic 18-hole New England golf course combines spectacular views with challenging golf right on Miraval Berkshires.
Rent a Kayak from The Black Swan Inn
Single/tandem kayak rentals on the lake. $30-$40/hour and cash-only. Call to reserve.
Have a Sports Day
A basketball court, five tennis courts and four pickleball courts right in town. All are free to use and first come first serve (pun intended).
Crash the Boston Symphony Orchestra Rehearsal
Saturday morning rehearsals at Tanglewood begin at 10:30 AM. Buy seated tickets in The Shed or tickets for The Lawn, where you can enjoy your own picnic as you listen to the BSO rehearse Beethoven's 9th. This is one of our top recommended activities!
Visit The Mount
The Mount is a turn-of-the-century home, designed and built by Edith Wharton in 1902. A National Historic Landmark, today The Mount is a cultural center that celebrates the intellectual, artistic and humanitarian legacy of Edith Wharton.
Visit the Norman Rockwell Museum
Located in Stockbridge – the town Rockwell called home for the last 25 years of his life – the museum features a variety of exhibits displaying the well-known artist's work, as well as his studio.
Explore Downtown Lenox
Downtown Lenox is a great place to walk around, grab a bite and hop from shop to shop. Two of our favorites: Dare Bottleshop & Provisions and The Bookstore & Get Lit Wine Bar.
