Hailing from Houston, TX, Robert made his transition to Jackson, MS to attend Thee Jackson State University, where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. The 6-10 PM on-air Radio Personality at 97.7 FM, the Beat of the Capital, Robert is more commonly known as Mista Maine. An Emcee, Host, Influencer, Activist and Philanthropist, Robert is known for his diligent work in the community amongst local recording artists and youth groups. He has two daughters, Aniya and Jennifer. Originally from Terry, MS, Deidra is a graduate of Hinds Community College Nursing/Allied Health Center. She is currently employed as the Pediatric Charge Nurse at Jackson Hinds Comprehensive Health Center - Main Site. Along with being a social media brand ambassador for numerous small businesses, a cheer mom, and an avid traveler, Deidra also enjoys educating the community about resources pertaining to healthcare for the uninsured and underinsured. She has five children: Decklan, Denham, Dorian, CharLeigh and Denver. The couple had seen each other in passing for quite some time. It was only when Deidra slid into Robert’s Instagram DM box, on a whim, that they would connect and the rest would become history.

The couple enjoys gifting each other travel for birthdays, so when Robert asked Deidra where she wanted to go, she was determined to go to Disney World. The couple was engaged on Deidra’s Birthday, July 12, 2021, in front of Eureka’s Castle at Walt Disney World, Orlando. Deidra wanted to take a picture in front of the castle as her birthday gift because she said she is a Princess. Robert decided to upgrade her to “His Queen” instead.
