Our mutual friends Ali and Jimmy have a love of wings and a knack for love. They "swear they weren't setting us up", but we find that suspicious. One after church lunch and we were hooked on both the wings, and each other. Flash forward a solid 2 months of weekly wings and Lilly decided to tag along for dinner. She couldn't stop talking about how excited she was to see the movie Cats and we couldn't stop teasing her. Since Josh couldn't come with (aka definitely did not want to go), I sent out that first message to him to live-text the movie, and we haven't stopped talking since.

For months, we talked about how deeply we love each other and how excited we are for marriage. We know, we're couple goals. One day, out of the blue, Josh suggested that we do a photoshoot with our dogs just for fun in two days. I was suspicious, but Megan and Lilly were in on the secret. They did everything in their power to throw me off and it worked. We went through the entire photoshoot with no proposal, but a whole lot of gorgeous photos. A pesky park ranger was hot on our tails the entire evening, making Josh even more nervous than he already was. Finally, in the last moments of the evening, while the sun was setting behind us and John was distracting the park ranger, Josh shocked me by asking me that very important question. "Abigail Sheline, will you marry me?". I couldn't contain my happiness, of course I said yes. I mean, have you seen that smile?

We absolutely cannot wait for our special and exciting day. As much as we wish with all our hearts we could be surrounded by all of our friends and family, we know that at this time it is not possible. After a lot of planning, including a change of venue, we have come up with what we think is the best solution. On the best day of our lives, we are inviting our full guest list outside of our immediate family to join us virtually. We have created a private facebook group where everyone can watch the event and share any thoughts and stories they would like to.
