Their story begins on New Years Eve of 2018. Like most millenials, they met online. Immediately, the two clicked over their mutual taste in movies, TV shows, and memes. From then on, the talks got longer and more intimate. Taking a leap, they had their first date at Connor’s favorite type of place: a bar. After watching Connor’s sweet moves on Donkey Kong, Kendall started to really dig this gamer boy. After that, they hung out more and more. Then, a trip to New York City started something amazing. The two became adventure buddies. From Gettysburg to Salem, Connor and Kendall realized they loved exploring with each other. Learning and experiencing was a passion they both shared. Fast forward 2020. A certain virus put a lot of plans on hold for these young loves. But one thing did happen: they moved in together. And boy howdy, what a time it was. People say that moving in with your significant other can test your relationship, but when you also throw in a deadly pandemic and a year-long lock-down, waters can start to feel high. That being said, the two weathered the storm, and their roots have become deep and nourished. Unlike so many, their relationship thrived by the end. They found ways to explore through video games and movies, they showed each other the media that meant the most to them, they created meals from around the world, and they even found a small cat looking for a new home. After all this, they realized what they had was incredibly special. They knew they wanted to continue their journey as husband and wife. And here they are, happily engaged and ready to begin their greatest adventure yet.
