FAQs

Question

When should I get into town?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least a day before the wedding, on August 20th, to avoid any check-in or travel mishaps. We will also be hosting a welcome party that afternoon and would love for you to join us, although it's certainly not mandatory. If you are in the wedding party, please plan to arrive on the 19th, as our ceremony rehearsal will take place the morning of the 20th.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is Cocktail attire. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, but the reception will be indoors. We want you to be you, but you know, class it up a bit. Be comfortable and have fun - if there's a color that looks great on you, wear it! Unless it happens to be a white dress ;) For the ladies, the ceremony area is on grass so I'd avoid tall thin stilettos and opt for a chunky heel, wedge, or flats instead. For the men, please wear a suit or a dress shirt with a jacket, and finish the look with dress shoes (no sneakers, please).

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the ceremony at 4:30PM.

Question

I'm not staying at Edgewood, where do I park for the wedding?

Answer

Edgewood has a valet service in front of the clubhouse. Pull into the circle outside of the venue, and they'll take care of parking for you. Or, take an Uber!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless specified on the invite or approved by the bride and groom, unfortunately no. Since this is planned to a T down to every meal and chair that's put out, unless we know of and approve of an additional guest, we kindly ask that you don't bring anyone else.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. However, they are welcome the rest of the weekend during pre and post wedding events. We hope this gives you the chance to relax, unwind, and enjoy the evening with us!
