Saratoga Performing Arts Center

108 Avenue of the Pines, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

Tedeschi Trucks Band & Gov't Mule are performing at 6:30pm on Friday, September fifth! SPAC is an amazing venue, and if you are in town in time we highly recommend grabbing lawn tickets!

Saratoga Spa State Park

19 Roosevelt Drive, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

If you’re looking to get outside and enjoy some fresh air, Saratoga Spa State Park is the perfect spot for a scenic hike! With miles of trails winding through lush woodlands, peaceful streams, and historic sites, the park offers a serene escape just minutes from downtown. Whether you're up for a leisurely stroll or a more challenging hike, you'll find trails to suit all levels.

National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame

191 Union Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

While we will be just missing horse race season, this museum is a great option for those interested in the history of racing in the area!

Lake George

Lake George, NY 12845

Sarah and Jack's happy place! Whether you go for the hikes, the lake, or the village, you won't be disappointed. 30-45 minute drive from Saratoga. Your options are endless: get in a round of mini golf at Around the World, go for a short hike at Pilot Knob or a longer one at Buck Mountain, take a scenic drive to the Prospect Mountain overlook, or spend a day on the water (see below)!

Yankee Marina and Boat Rentals

3910 Lake Shore Drive, Diamond Point, NY 12824

If you are interested in a day on the lake, we highly recommend this boat rental company on Lake George! Let us know if you want suggestions for where to spend the day on the water!

Bear's Cup Bakehouse

4973 Lake Shore Drive, Bolton Landing, NY 12814

A 40ish minute from Saratoga, but this is Jack and Sarah's favorite breakfast bakery around Lake George! Swing by for breakfast and be sure to get a bear claw (they are to die for), or stop in for an early lunch. Pair it with a day on the lake.

Bolton Landing

Bolton Landing, NY 12814

Our favorite town on Lake George, home of Bear's Cup! Good to stop by at any time of day, if looking for an afternoon / evening meal, we recommend Bear's Cup Pizzeria or if you want to opt for something more upscale, visit the Sagamore Hotel for a cocktail with the best view of the lake.

Saratoga National Golf Club

458 Union Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

For those looking for a more elevated golfing experience, the Father of the groom will be organizing a Saturday morning round. Expected cost $240pp. While this option is suited for those with more experience on the course, it's sure to be a memorable way to spend the day before or after the wedding. Tee times are limited, so reach out to madejjohns@gmail.com if interested!

Saratoga Spa Golf Course

60 Roosevelt Drive, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

For those looking to unwind and have some fun before or after the big day, this is a perfect local, laid-back course ideal for all skill levels. No organized event planned, but feel free to book a tee time!
