What is the dress code?

Answer

Mountain formal! Think cocktail dresses or pantsuits for women, suits or dress shirts and pants for men. Please keep in mind that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting), and June in the mountains can bring varying weather. Plan ahead and accordingly! And bring your best dancing shoes!

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests included on your invitation. If you have a plus one, that will be noted on your invite!

What is the elevation of Buena Vista?

Answer

Buena Vista is located at 7,965 feet above sea level. If you are coming from a much lower elevation, you might experience some altitude sickness, which could include varying symptoms of dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath, or headaches. To avoid these symptoms, we suggest drinking lots of water, taking it easy when it comes to physical activity, and moderating your alcohol consumption (or at least making sure you're drinking water with your alcoholic beverages). If you're coming from out of state, consider arriving a day or two early and staying in Denver (which is at a lower elevation than Buena Vista) to acclimate yourself.
