Richie was on his annual Montauk trip with friends he's known since childhood. I headed out there last minute with friends of my own. Our groups ended up merging for the day and it turned out we already kind of knew each other. We spent the day all hanging out, and at some point Richie and I broke off and just kept talking. For the rest of the night. Conversation came easy, there was something there, and we both felt it. The timing wasn't ideal. I was heading into my junior year of college, but it didn't really matter. Things moved fast, and it became pretty obvious pretty quickly that this was worth figuring out, distance and all. So we did. Fast forward ten years together, one apartment, countless memories, and one very spoiled chocolate lab later… Richie proposed in Montauk on August 9th, 2024, bringing everything full circle. We’re so excited to finally make it official and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
