We met in the most unexpected way—playing volleyball, of all things—when our MOH introduced us. What started as a simple friendship quickly grew as we realized we had a ton of mutual friends and kept finding ourselves in the same circles. Fast forward to just before Kaleb moved back to Washington and suddenly, we weren’t just “friends” anymore. Even though we wanted to protect our friendship and keep things platonic, we just couldn’t ignore the connection. So, we went on our first date that last week in New York… and the rest is history. We squeezed in every minute together before doing long distance for a few months (lots of FaceTimes, lots of missing each other). Since reuniting in New York, we’ve loved building a life together here—pioneering, serving at Bethel, and making unforgettable memories with our friends. Hudson Valley has become home to us, and we’re beyond excited to share it with all of you. Having our friends and family from all over the country come together to celebrate with us means the world to us and we’re so excited to welcome all of you guys to celebrate our wedding here with us!
