We're getting married!

Marco & Deidre met one night through mutual friends going to the Haddam Neck Fair. Marco being the gentleman he is, paid for Deidre's ticket to get into the fair that night and bought her a fried dough (the ticket to Dee's heart). They walked around the fair, and watched the truck pulls while holding hands. The rest is history!

After spending a weekend in Vermont visiting friends at college, Marco & Deidre came home on Marco's birthday. That night after cake, Marco asked her to give him the best present and become his girlfriend. 8 years later and they're engaged planning the wedding of their dreams!

Marco & Deidre took a trip to Nashville with Deidre's family. This trip was the first trip Marco & Deidre have ever been on an airplane together. On their second day in Nashville, TN at Jason Aldean's Rooftop Bar, Deidre thought the two were taking a picture together but Marco had other plans. Marco got down on one knee in front of the entire rooftop who cheered and clapped throughout the proposal. Deidre's brother was the only one on the trip who knew about the proposal and was able to capture the special moment on camera. It was a trip for the books that's for sure!
