Passport Reminder!

**Please make sure you have a valid passport!** U.S. passport renewals and new applications typically take 4–6 weeks with routine service (or 2–3 weeks if expedited). While Mexico only requires your passport to be valid for the duration of your stay, we recommend ensuring that your passport is valid through at least August 5, 2027 (6 months after the trip), just to avoid any airline or travel issues.

No, this is an Adults-Only All-Inclusive resort! Enjoy a much-deserved vacation without childcare duties!

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Tropical Chic, Cocktail Attire! For Men: Light suit or crisp button down shirts, dress pants or linen pants. No tie necessary. For Women: Colorful and comfortable cocktail dress or maxi dress, sandals or comfortable heels.

Is there a wedding block link to book discounted rooms?

Answer

Yes! We will have a custom link to book your discounted room within our wedding block. Unfortunately, the link is not ready yet. We will email you when it is! For now, please wait to book your rooms. However, you CAN book your flights now!

How much will the hotel rooms cost?

Answer

We were able to negotiate the following great rates: El Dorado Seaside Suites: Oceanfront Swim Up Suite: $467 per night per room (for 2 people, this comes to $233.50 per night per person) El Dorado Seaside Palms: Junior Suite: $412 per night per room (for 2 people, this comes to $206 per night per person) Keep in mind, this price includes all food and drinks as well! If you want to upgrade to an even fancier room, this will be available at an extra charge.

Do I need to stay at El Dorado to attend the wedding?

Yes! We are looking forward to spending time with our friends and family all weekend long, so we would miss you if you stayed elsewhere!

Can I book my room from the hotel website directly or with another travel website?

Answer

No. Not only did we negotiate a great rate for you, but if you book through a different website, you will not be counted as our wedding guest by the venue, which is important for event set up, seating, food and drink preparation, etc.! We will send you the link when it's ready to use!

How many days should I book my trip for?

Answer

There is a three night minimum to get the wedding block price, but please feel welcome to stay up to a week at a great wedding block rate! February 1st-7th will be offered at our rate.

Should I bring any cash?

Answer

We recommend bringing cash ($1 bills) to tip the staff and bartenders. A little goes a long way! You do not need to exchange for pesos, the locals gladly accept US dollars.

Anything else I should prepare before going to Mexico?

Answer

Please make sure you have a valid passport! Consider flying out early in case of snow or weather delays. TSA PreCheck and Global Entry are recommended to make your airport experience even more seamless, but not mandatory.

No! We appreciate you making the trip to Mexico. Celebrating with you is a gift in itself!
