You know that friend you can always pick up with where you left off, no matter how much time has passed? The one you can tell anything to, lean on for advice, who values your support, and who you can laugh with until you're crying? The one you have so much love for, that they truly are your family. That's Tameka for me. Ever since I met Tameka while studying abroad in Italy in college (shout-out to the Rome Girls!), I've admired her for her fearless confidence, her intuitive wisdom, ability to whip up delicious meals from scratch, the way she wholeheartedly loves and protects others, and how she infallibly finds fun and adventure in any situation! Speaking of adventure, I am thrilled for what's ahead as Tameka and Malcolm begin their beautiful life together! I can't wait for their wedding, and I look forward to meeting everyone as we celebrate their love while dancing the night away!

Tameka was an immediate force of nature in my life. When we signed up for a study abroad in Rome at UW, she intentionally chose me to be a new friend and we jumped in, thick as thieves from Day 1. We lived la dolce vita in Italy, maintained a long distance friendship jetting to New Orleans, Disneyland, San Francisco, Vegas, Korea and NYC together, and have championed each other through major life and career changes. 17 years later, she's still my ride or die and I'm so happy that she and Malcolm found one another, he's the perfect yin to her yang. Here's to a lifetime of happiness for a gal who is one in a million.

I met the lovely bride 4 years ago at a Meetup group event. The first thing I noticed about her was how cheerful she was and there was always a smile on her face. She was radiant with confidence and it spreads to everyone she speaks to! You cannot walk away from a conversation with Tameka without feeling like a better version of yourself. She quickly became one of my closest friends, someone I see as my big sister. I cannot think of anyone that is more deserving of receiving this love than Tameka - someone who is always giving her love to others. It has been a true blessing to see her and Malcolm realize that they are truly meant for each other and build a beautiful life together.

I first met Tameka at a CrossFit gym, where we shared many laughs, sweat, and even tears of pain. She introduced me to the gym community, and I’ve never felt more welcome. We've been through thick and thin together—sometimes quite literally! Tameka has a unique gift for making friends everywhere she goes, which I truly admire. Her loving and caring nature always brightens the lives of those around her. I’m incredibly grateful to have her in my life, and I can’t wait to celebrate this exciting new chapter with her!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tameka when she joined a meet up group that my now fiancé used to host. I was new to the group as well and was lucky enough to sit with her during a dinner and get to meet the fantastic woman that we all know and love. We got along instantly and were able to have to easiest conversation like we’ve known each other for years. Tameka has become one of the most important people in my life and getting to stand beside her when she says I DO to Malcolm is truly a gift.
