Where did the future Mr. and Mrs. Byrd meet? Was it a dating app? Social media? Church? That is something that will forever be a mystery to us all... except Brock. It all started one evening last March when Brock reached out to Allison: "Did I see you at church today?". Did Brock actually see Allison at church or did she just catch Brocks eye on his Hinge or Insta feed? Only Brock will ever know. Either way, Allison was smitten from the first DM and they quickly established a friendship. From the beginning, Allison was drawn to Brock’s spirituality. Their faith helped deepen their relationship and strengthen their relationships with God. Not only was Allison in awe of Brock’s spiritual leadership but also by his charm, wit, drive and sense of humor. By the fall of 2021, Brock started to think his cheesy March pickup line may have been his last as he was falling in love with Allison who was the full package: beauty, brains and personality with a huge heart to match. He told Kevin that their party of two would have to expand to be a family of four: Brock, Allison, Kevin and Poppy. Allison and Brock are still on cloud 9 and cannot wait to welcome you to share this special day with them as they look to start forever together.

One night after a card game of Hearts (yes - the couple is big card players - all challenges accepted), Brock said he made something for Allison. Brock pulled a scrapbook off the shelf and handed it to her. Allison was hopeful this was IT but remained calm to ensure she wasn't getting her hopes up. As Allison started to turn through the pages, she saw all of their memories collated page by page with their favorite pictures together. Brock is a romantic so this wasn't a complete giveaway just yet... As Allison was flipping through the pages, she stumbled onto a title page for the next section... "Mr. and Mrs. Byrd". At that moment, Allison's heart sank and Brock got down on one knee. Before Brock could even start speaking, Allison fell to the floor with him and they both ugly cried tears of happiness while Brock asked Allison for her hand in marriage. With Allison in such a state of shock and happiness, she didn't realize she hadn't even said YES yet... So poor Brock, eager and anxious as ever had to remind her, "So is that a yes?!". That was the easiest "yes" that Allison has ever given. The two celebrated after with a special dinner out on the town.
