FAQs

The Wedding Website of Rebecca Byrd and Ryan Losensky
Here are some common questions and answers our guests have. Please let us know if you have any other questions not answered here!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 15, 2025 please!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "Travel" tab on our website for a list of hotel recommendations and areas in Charleston to stay. We did not block hotel rooms for our guests because we want to give y'all the flexibility to stay wherever was most convenient for you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony and reception are at the same location and there is plenty of parking. Our venue kindly asks we park only in specific areas, which will be labeled and/or directed by someone, in order to protect the old oak trees and landscape on the property. Thank you for respecting this with us!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know if you have a food allergy by answering the question regarding food allergies when you RSVP on our website. We kindly ask that you list only true food sensitivities/allergies, and we will do our best to accommodate. Food labels will be listed at each station to indicate any allergens. Gluten free definitely available!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see your sweet kiddos there! We tried our very best to list your kids' names in the RSVP but may have missed a few. If we accidentally left off your kids' names and you would like to bring them, please let us know!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly request that you RSVP for both yourself and your plus one (including name). Thank you in advance for honoring our guest count so we can create the most memorable experience for everyone!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request "cocktail" or "semi-formal" attire be worn. We understand our wedding is at the end of May so it will probably be on the warmer side so just use your best judgement and address appropriately. Of note, the ceremony will take place outside in an open green space. The cocktail hour will also take place outside under a covered porch with ceiling fans. The reception will be located inside an air conditioned building. Please see the following website for explanations and examples of wedding attire: https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend you arrive 20-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to allow enough time for parking and finding your seats. Don't worry, we'll have some music to entertain you while you wait for the ceremony to start!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We have tried to make it simple for you to keep everything in one place. Please see the "Registry" tab on our website where you will find various items of various costs and quantities that we would like to have when we start our home together.
