Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Marisa Martinelli and Robbie Looper
We’re absolutely delighted to welcome you to Austin for our special celebration! Your presence means the world to us, and we want to help you make the most of your time in this vibrant city. In addition to the wedding festivities, we’ve put together a few of our favorite spots and experiences below. Get ready to soak in the culture, savor the flavors, and enjoy the sounds that make Austin such a one-of-a-kind place. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and hope you fall in love with this city just as we have.

South Congress

South Congress is perfect for a day of strolling and shopping at eclectic Austin boutiques and popular favorites. Take a break and enjoy lunch on the patio at Perla’s, grab a michelada at Guero’s (think Bloody Mary, but with beer—trust us, it’s delicious!), or head to Aba for their short rib hummus and whipped feta.

Coffee & Breakfast Tacos

One of our favorite things about Austin is its amazing local coffee scene. Some of our go-to spots are Desnudo, Summer Moon Coffee, Flitch, and Swedish Hill. If you’re looking for a quick breakfast, you can’t go wrong with breakfast tacos from one of the many spots around town. There are tons of great options, but our favorites are Taco Deli, Veracruz, and Pueblo Viejo.

Barton Springs

If the weather is nice and you’re up for a swim, head to Barton Springs Pool in Zilker Park. This natural spring-fed pool is renowned for its clear, cold water and makes for a refreshing year-round destination.

Lady Bird Lake Trail

For our fitness friends, if you need to get your steps in before the festivities begin, Lady Bird Lake trail, located right downtown, is perfect for a walk or run.

Austin BBQ

For a taste of authentic Austin BBQ, visit Terry Black's or Green Mesquite near Zilker Park.

Hiking

If you're in the mood for outdoor adventure, check out Mount Bonnell for breathtaking views of Lake Austin. Alternatively, enjoy a longer hike through the Barton Creek Greenbelt.

Austin Public Library

710 West Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, TX 78701

This is the perfect indoor spot to chill—or grab a board game and head up to the sky deck for some cool views.
