Once Upon a Time...

I don't think either of us thought we'd find our person 800 miles apart in an Xbox Live party. When Hana went down to Georgia to meet Jacob a few months later, they started falling for each other even though they both fought their feelings (albeit not very hard) because they knew the distance would be hard. He told her not long after she went back to Michigan that the first time he saw her come down the stairs at the airport, he knew she was his person. Their relationship began long distance but it made them stronger together. They forged a stronger connection and a beautiful friendship. And though it sucked most days, they knew that if they could make it through that time apart, they could do anything. Almost 3 years of a long distance relationship later, they packed up her car and drove down with Hana's dog to start their time together in person. 2 years later, he asked her to marry him at their first date location: The Georgia Aquarium.
