Maid of Honor
Courtney has been my built in Best Friend for 32 years. My protector, teacher, cheerleader, sparring partner and critic just to name a few. I truly am who I am because of the influence she's wielded in every chapter of my life. Her courage, care, resilience, and stubbornness are a few traits I inherited honestly.
Matron of Honor
Michelle has been my sounding board for 20 years. Right or wrong, she's been there giving me encouragement, a helping hand, and/or a much needed reality check. Since adolescence, and even through distance, her practicality, reliability, kindness, and trustworthiness have been a constant source of strength and support.
Bridesmaid
Amanda has been my confidant for 23 years. Her friendship has been key to validating what "unwavering" means to me. We have walked several paths together, even more apart, establishing a timeless kinship along the way. Her wittiness, tenacity, understanding and grace have proven to be a linchpin throughout our journey.
Bridesmaid
Elba has been a part of my support system since a teen. From long talks about life--to include talking me off some edges--to making prominent memories destressing on and off the dancefloor: her loyalty runs deep. Her empathy and resilience are unmatched, and her generosity speaks volumes without saying a word.
Bridesmaid
Ashley has been my wise counsel the last 9 years. Albeit work, life, or trying to find a balance between the two: she's always there with a positive word, calm ear, open heart, and a plan. Her leadership, mentorship, and friendship has been a needed constant providing a voice of reason when mine was lost in the noise.
Bridesmaid
LaTerria has been my steady presence—always ready to listen, uplift, and stand by me. Through what felt like hardest of times, she’s helped me hold it together, and through the best ones, she’s been one of the first to celebrate with me. Her care, concern, thoughtfulness, and perseverance have been key throughout seasons of my life.
Groomsman
The youngest nephew. Bold, curious and observant. Smart, competitive, and funny. Just looking at him, sometimes I forget he’s 11 and not 15. If Jr can have a little of your time, attention and faith in him, you have a young man that is limitless. He continues to push me to grow to be a better role model and teacher. He's really coming into his own and it's a privilege to be apart of his journey.
Groomsman
The Middle Nephew. Mr. "Calm, Cool, and Collected". Quiet, humble and respectful. Student and athlete, he brings a love for sports (basketball and football) and a sharp mind to everything he does. Whether on the field, in the classroom, or for family: he gives it his all. He's growing into a impressive young man, and I look forward to being in his corner along the way.
Groomsman
The Oldest Nephew and senior representative for the grandchildren on his father’s side. Trenton is the nephew I got to grow up beside. From playing in the yard, to teaching him how to ride a bike, he's been key to making me the uncle and man I am today. As he steps into adulthood and his freshman year of college, I'm honored to continue to witness the man he becomes.
Groomsman
Friends for 16 yrs. Practical, reliable, self-motivated. From our first job at Sunshine Skate Center, the rest is literally history--some good, some bad, and some situations only God himself could have worked out for us. We've had our share of late-night chats that only brothers understand, and I can always count on him to make any moment lively. Having a genuine friend like him is a blessing I'm fortunate to carry in the next phases of life.
Groomsman
Smart, Hardworking, Unintentionally Hilarious. My Roll Dog. If you see me out, you’ll more than likely see him. From High School band, to working together in the restaurant industry thru college: he's been there keeping me laughing along the way. Clowning, Dancing, Skating, Making Music or Eating: it’s always good/positive vibes when he's around. I'm grateful for the brotherhood we have and fortune to keep it through these next phases.
Groomsman
Selfless, Witty, Free-spirited. He is the uncle Hawai’i gave me 5 years ago that I didn’t know I needed. From lifting my spirits at a bar one evening (telling everyone it was my birthday), to being a lifeline for continued mentorship and encouragement despite the time zone: Rick has been nothing short of an uncle figure, friend, and support system since the day we met. I'm forever thankful for who he's been and appreciative to be there for who he continues to be.
